Summary
A Guest Lecture was organized by Department of Dravyaguna Vigyan Ashvin rural Ayurved College and Hospital, Manchi Hill, Sangamner. Dr. Kiran Omprakash Mantri, HOD & Prof. Department of Dravyaguna Vigyan was invited as guest speaker. He delivered a lecture on the topic ” Clinical Application of Dravyaguna Vigyan in Jwar “. Program was started at 11.00am. Principal Dr. Shyamal Nirmal, Vice Principal Dr. Jitendra Shimpi, Dr. Tushar Deshpande, Dr. Vidya Sarode has graced the occasion. All second-year students participated in seminar. Dr. Tushar Deshpande Associate Professor, Department of Dravyaguna Vigyan, ARAC Manchi Hill, had introduced guest speaker. Dr. Kiran Mantri has explained and guided on the different aspects of the Jwara, its types, its progression and etiology with pathogenesis. He has also explained the role of Dravyaguna in the management and treatment of Jwar. He has explained about the Single drug therapy like Kiratatikta, Guduchi, Vasa, Ushir, Chandan etc. He clearly stated the different formulations of Chandan, Aguru in the form of oil. At the end of the session, question and answer was taken. College Director, Mr. Annasaheb Balme has congratulated and thanked speaker with vote of thanks.
