The Department of Rachana Sharir organized a special Prize Distribution Ceremony on 11th July 2025 in the First Year Classroom to honor and encourage the academic excellence and creative achievements of students in the field of Anatomy.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Jitendra Shimpi Sir, Professor and Head of the Department, along with respected faculty members:
– Dr. Chandrakant Shinde Sir, Reader
– Dr. Nandu Godge Sir, Lecturer
– Dr. Siddhesh Kanade Sir, Lecturer
– Dr. Chandrakant Girgune Sir
– Dr. Tushar Deshpande Sir
– And other dedicated teaching staff.

We were especially honored by the presence of Dr. Shyamal Nirmal Ma’am, Principal, who presented awards and shared encouraging words with the students.

The program began with a welcome speech, followed by an insightful address by Dr. Jitendra Shimpi Sir, who highlighted the foundational importance of Anatomy in medical education and inspired students to strive for both academic excellence and innovation.

 Anatomy Model Presentation Awards

As part of academic enrichment, students were invited to design and present anatomical models illustrating various human body systems. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and reflected the students’ creativity and scientific understanding.

The models were evaluated on:
– Creativity
– Anatomical Accuracy
– Clarity
– Presentation Skills

 Winners of the Anatomy Model Competition:
 1st Prize: Vaishnavi Shinde and Vaishnavi Narode
 2nd Prize: Sakshi Pande and Pratiksha Mote
 3rd Prize: Shikha Rai, Shruti Shukla, and Arya Paradkar

Certificates and trophies were presented by Dr. Shyamal Nirmal Ma’am, Principal, who appreciated the students’ dedication, innovation, and enthusiasm.

 Academic Excellence Awards – Anatomy Toppers

To acknowledge outstanding academic performance, the University Exam Toppers (Old First Year) in Anatomy were felicitated during the ceremony. The top three rankers were awarded trophies in recognition of their success.

 2nd Rank: Harshali Satve
 3rd Rank: Shravani Autade

All faculty members, including Dr. Chandrakant Shinde Sir, Dr. Siddhesh Kanade Sir, and others, congratulated the toppers and encouraged the junior students to strive for academic excellence with the same dedication.

Conclusion

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Diksha Gangthade, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Principal, Head of Department, all faculty members, and students for their contribution to the success of the ceremony.

The program ended with group photographs, capturing moments of pride and celebration.
