Women’s Day Celebration
International Women’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Ashvin Rural Ayurved College, Manchi Hill on 9th March, as 8th March fell on a Sunday.
The programme was organized in the Seminar Hall on the third floor of the college. The event aimed to honour the strength, achievements, and contributions of women while encouraging the spirit of women empowerment among students.
The programme was gracefully hosted by Ms. Vishakha Biradar and Ms. Ishwari Jagdale, the final-year students, who conducted the event with great confidence and enthusiasm.
The celebration began with the welcoming of the guest speaker and teachers.
The felicitation ceremony was conducted to honour the dignitaries.
The guest speaker Mrs. Manisha Navle was felicitated by Dr. Pachore Ma’am as a token of respect and appreciation. Following this, all the women teachers were also felicitated by the girl students to acknowledge their guidance, dedication, and contribution to education.
The programme continued with a series of inspiring speeches delivered by the guest speaker, teachers, and a few students. The speeches focused on the theme of women empowerment, highlighting the strength, resilience, and important role of women in society. The words shared during these speeches motivated the audience and emphasized the importance of equality and self-confidence.
To add cultural vibrance to the event, several dance performances were presented by both girl students and teachers, which filled the hall with excitement and joy. The audience appreciated the performances wholeheartedly. Additionally, a final-year student presented a beautiful song, which further enhanced the cultural spirit of the celebration.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note when Ms. Anchal Gupta delivered a powerful shayari dedicated to women, encouraging confidence, strength, and pride in womanhood. Her words left the audience feeling motivated and uplifted.
