On the occasion of World Environment Day, Ashwin Rural Ayurveda College organized various competitions and activities on 5th June 2025 to raise awareness among students and encourage active participation in environmental preservation. The theme for this year was “Beat Plastic Pollution”, and the event promoted the message through the slogan “एक पेड़ धरती माँ के नाम”, emphasizing the importance of tree plantation and care for nature.
Competitions Organized
Street Play (Pathnatya) Competition
Students performed street plays in different groups to raise awareness about environmental issues.
Winner: Mrityunjay Batch
Rangoli Competition
Creative Rangoli designs were made by students, reflecting nature and environmental themes.

Drawing Competition
Top 5 drawings were selected for demonstration and presentation based on creativity and relevance to the theme.

Reel Competition
Enthusiastic and creative reels were showcased, highlighting the beauty of nature and ways to preserve it.

Photography Competition
Students captured moments reflecting the environment’s beauty and the need for its conservation.

This event aimed to build self-confidence and communication skills, with students presenting speeches on environmental topics

Tree Plantation Activity
